Teriyaki Sauce
Sauces
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 1/4 cup sake
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1 clove garlic, smashed
- 1 quarter sized piece of ginger, smashed
- Combine all ingredients ina small saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir and reduce heat to a simmer; simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator. Makes about 1 cup.
