Uncle's at Pier 38 Ahi Poke Tower

Delicious tower of goodness
- 4 ounces sushi rice
- 4 ounces ahi poke
- 4 ounces guacamole dip
- 4 ounces ahi tartare
- Dried seaweed (kizami nori)
- Tobiko (flying fish roe)
- 1 ounce tobiko
- 1/4 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Ahi Poke
- 1 pound ahi, cut into 1/2-inch dice
- 2 ounces green onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 ounces round onion, cut into 1/2-inch dice
- Pinch of Korean chili pepper flakes
- Hawaiian rock salt to taste
Ahi Tartare
- 4 ounces ahi, remove all ligaments & chop finely
- Layer sushi rice on a plate, then ahi poke, then guacamole, then ahi tartare. Sprinkle nori over top. Serve with deep-fried corn tortilla chips.
